サムサラを買ったときに、ゲランの秋の新色口紅のサンプルをもらったので今日つけてみた。

I loathe lipsticks with taste and smell. あまっとろしー臭い。Ugh, it's not like I put it in my mouth, but I can still taste it.　やはりおフランスの口紅は私には合わない。Chanel lipsticks induce nausea, too.

化粧品は遠慮したいが、昨日匂わせてもらったアクア　アレゴリアの「ピヴォワンヌ マグニフィカ」が気になっている。シャクヤクのオーデトワレ。ネットで検索すると、どこも売り切れ。やはり人気なのね。デパートで買うしかないな。それに、I enjoy good bargains as much as the next person, but こういうもののディスカウント品を目を血走らせて探すのは品がない。６千円ちょっとの話だし。
I mean、have you been to one of those ブランドディスカウントショップ？ I haven't, but I've passed by one or two. From what I observed, you wouldn't describe the sales people (and the customers) in those places with words like "elegant," "classy" or "sophisticated." 結局、only those who can truly afford to buy these expensive (or overpriced) finer products should be wearing them. そうじゃない人が身につけてると、いくら高級品でも下品で貧乏臭い、と思うのはあたしだけじゃないはず。
