Hot, hot, hot.

Apparently the korean meteorological agency issued a high temp warning. Y san from P's office said she doesnt remember the korean summer being this hot ever. I would normally stay inside in this kind of weather, but i gotta go to the stores and run errands. Even with the parasol, gloves and sunscreen, i got sunrash. my insteps are tanned in a weird way from the straps of my sandals. i think tanned skin makes one look older.

My time in korea is coming to an end. i have enjoyed it despite the major inconvenience with the laundry situation. The irony is that a washing machine arrived today and they will install it tomorrow. khiii. Well, im happy for the next staff who stays there. Really happy.

Y san said she wished she could have been more helpful. I thought it was sooo humble of her to say that. She has been a great help and i really could not have survived without her. i told her such a remark is so asian and we laughed. Koreans are very respectful to older people in general, but i think she is a kind-hearted nice person to begin with.

I need to pack and that has been a headache. I am obsessing to keep the suitcases to be under 23kg each. I have no problem with mine but Ps. Sigh. I dont know why he had to bring so much heavy stuff like several hardcover books. He may have to pay for exess. Let me obsess for awhile more until i get sick of it. thats just the way i au
