P heard from the Korean staff at his office that today is the day to eat samgyetan. Apparently it'like eating eels in Japan. They eat this ultimate chiken soup to survive the sweltering summer. It's not as hot as Japan, but it still feels hot and humid.

There was a looong line at this small samgyetan restaurant near P's office. It was more like a diner. I don't really pay attention to seasonal events and rarely line up to eat something. But P insisted. It is a famous dish and I had never had it, so I joined the line.

Here it is:

It was very good. We were not sure how to eat it, so we observed the Koean neighbors. They were all eating directly from the pots. The waitress gave us small plates, but I suppose it's up to you if you want to use them.

The soup was delicious and the chicken very tender.
