Adjustment. Nothing really new. Still the same wires and elastics.

I asked the doctor (the wife) about the bone protrusion on the gum. I noticed a couple of days ago that the gum under the left no. 1 tooth is bumpier than before. It looks white. I DON’T want to go through with the grinding procedure ever again. Well, just like the last time she didn’t know why that happens. It hurts if I press it hard, but since it is not protruding sharply like the last time, I am not going to worry about it. There is an area in the upper front gum that is white and bumpy and hurts when pressed, too. Well, I just won’t press it and ignore that I even saw it there. Agh.

She made the loops of the upper archwire so close to the gum this time, and it’s hard to hook the elastics. In fact I just realized they are touching the gum. It does not bother me now, but I wonder if it might later. I should have put on the elastics at the clinic so I would have found out about this. But we all forgot about it. I called them when I got home to ask if I still needed to wear them. He apologized that he did not mention it, and told me to continue what I was doing before.

Starting to hurt. Tofu and pudding tonight.
