Cant sleep. There was another mosquito in the bedroom. I got bitten on my upper arm. I had researched about what to do with these little buggers on the internet, so when i woke up with an itch, i immediately got up and washed the bite with warm soapy water. It controlled the itching fast.

My other bites are still red and swollen. i had never gotten like this from mosquito bites. Embarrassing to wear short-sleeved shirts now with those red bumps. I read that we can take ibuprofen to control the swelling. I didn't know.

The surest way it seems to protect urself from those pests is to use a mosquito net. I wonder if there is a tent type net. It would be a hassle to have to install hooks on the walls or ceiling to hang the net.

The smell of orange is supposed to keep them away, and i happen to have orange essential oil with me. I got excited and put a few drops of it on tissue paper and kept it by my head. Well, i still got bitten, didnt i.

Teatree and lemongrass are supposed to work as repellants. I will have to look for a place where they sell essential oils. It is easier with the common pesticides sold at every store in the neighborhood and i dont mind using it, but sure, if something natural can help, i'll try it, damn it.

I never expected mosquitos to be such a problem here. We are staying in the city area, but obviously it means nothing.

The first week in seoul this time has been a bit challenging and stressful. i hope it gets easier.
