When you are angry, you have energy. When you are hurt, you are down and depressed. I have often wished I got angry more than I get hurt when something upsetting happens. It's easier to deal with other things when you are angry about one certain thing than when you are hurt by it. At least for me. When I'm hurt, I just want to stay in bed all day and do nothing. Chocolate ice cream always helps, of course. Ice cream in bed. If there is a cat or two in bed with me, that would be nice, too.
I get perturbed way too easily.
