SO formulaic. SO Hollywood. Here is the movie for the simple-minded.
I don't know how many times I pressed the pause button and got up to do something else. I guess it's suspenseful enough, but the conversations were predictable, I couldn't stand those bad sit-com type funny men appearing here and there, rolled my eyes at yet another car chase, etc., etc.
I don't know what William H. Macy was doing in a movie like this. His talent is wasted here. I read somewhere a while ago that he was interested in doing more "main stream" movies for bigger money now that he has a child. I guess one cannot blame him for trying to do well financially for his family. But did he have to do this...?
